At Lancing United Colts it is our vision to provide a high standard of coaching at an affordable price as well as providing an environment that the whole family will want to be a part of. #morethanjustfootball

We strive to play a high paced, technically based game with passing and teamwork at the core. Players are encouraged to possess and progress the ball through the thirds of the pitch through passing and movement.

Players will receive fair playing time during training with games based on players commitment to development. 

Teams are controlled by the managers with the want for new players solely controlled by them and not enforced at the committee level. This level of control helps reduce the scenario of having 15 players signed on for a 5 aside team and highlights that players are players and not just a source of income.

Players, regardless of age want to learn and play. Larger than required teams dilute the playing time for players, even within the FA guidelines.

We work hard on ensuring each team, regardless of age, has dedicated and skilled coaches to provide the level of training that we strive for. Each manager with the help of their coaching staff will look to provide structured and planned training sessions, which is set up for all abilities with the understanding that each player develops at a different pace.

We ask that each player gives 100% at training as on match days. We ask for punctuality to both training and match days. We ask each player to be polite to both players and coaching staff. Rude language and/or violence to others will not be tolerated by the teams/club.

We ask that each player gives 100% on match days and that any outcome of a game is based on a team effort and not on individual performance. No one person is bigger than the team/club. We ask that each player respects their own team players as well as the opposition.

Above all, we ask ALL members of the club to promote an enjoyable learning environment for all.
